This elegant hotel enjoys a lovely location directly by the banks of the Saône in the historical town of Lyon. Plenty of sightseeing attractions are within easy reach, such as St Jean's Cathedral, the opera, the Musée des Beaux-Arts or the stunning Notre-Dame de Fourvière Basilica. Public transport is also just a few steps from the hotel. The historical building, where the Governor of Lyon slept, was famous during the 16th century. It was the meeting point for artists and theatre actors, who played alongside the Saône. After extensive reconstruction, of the three joining parts of the building, the hotel was newly opened and includes a total of 36 rooms, of which 15 are junior suites. The hotel has a 24-hour reception in the vaulted lobby, a hotel safe, a currency exchange desk, a lift and a café. Furthermore, guests are offered a bar, WLAN access point, conference facilities and a TV room. Those arriving by car may make use of the garage and laundry, ironing as well as room services complete the amenities on offer at this hotel. The snug rooms include an en suite bathroom, a hairdryer, a cosmetic bar and a direct dial telephone. In addition, cable TV, wireless Internet access through WLAN, fax access, minibar, a double bed, air conditioning (centrally regulated) and a hire safe also come as standard. Guests are able to select their breakfast from the continental buffet service. Arrival from the airport: there is a shuttle service every 30 minutes. By taxi: it takes 45 minutes to reach the hotel. Perrache SNCF station is 10 minutes from the hotel by taxi. It is also possible to take bus 31 or the underground line A (Perrache-Laurent-Bonnevay) to ""Hotel de Ville"". Part-dieu SNCF station is 15 minutes from the hotel. Bus 1 and the underground line B (Stage Gerland-Charpenne) can be taken from here and change at Charpenne to take line A (Perrache-Laurent Bonnevay) to "Town Hall".
